Veterinary Technician Team Lead, General Practice
With nearly a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, Alexa has been an integral part of our general practice for almost five years. A proud Penn State graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a minor in Equine Science, Alexa is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing a Veterinary Technology degree to earn her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentials.
Alexa's dedication to her field is evident in her passion for continuing education and staying current with the latest medical practices. Her experience as a surgical technician has been both fulfilling and influential in shaping her role as a Technician Supervisor, where she thrives on supporting her team and helping them achieve their professional goals. This along with the relationships built with the patients and clients maintain her love for veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Alexa enjoys quality time with her black lab mix, Lucy, taking her on walks and exploring the outdoors. She also loves horseback riding, spending days at the beach, and enjoying football Sundays with friends cheering on the Giants.
