Dr. Thomas Caltabilota is the founder of City By The Sea Veterinary Hospital. Opening his very own hospital has always been his dream.

Dr. Avery Kasten joined the City By The Sea Veterinary Hospital team in August 2020 and is our Medical Director. What does this mean? Basically, she makes sure everyone stays engaged in the latest industry standards of care for veterinary medicine and surgery.

Dr. Conway has been with City By The Sea Veterinary Hospital since 2019. She brings with her over 25 years of experience as a general practitioner in small animal medicine.

Dr. Erica Falvey recently joined City By The Sea Veterinary Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian in July 2021. Growing up in Lincroft, NJ, she knew very early on that she wanted to be a veterinarian. Her early love for animals and science made it an easy choice!

Dr. Brianna Stafford has been practicing at City By The Sea Veterinary Hospital since 2019. She attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor’s in Animal Science with 4 Minors.

Dr. Karen Cherrone is originally from Upstate NY.

Dr. Kelly Coughlin joined our team in July of 2023 and is the Medical Director of our brand new Urgent Care practice. Kelly is getting the practice up and running, ensuring the right staff members are in place and that the latest industry standards in emergency medicine are being adhered to.

Dr. Justine Murray-Amodio joined our team in November of 2023 as an Associate Veterinarian for our Urgent Care practice.

Dr. Santos-Melody graduated from Rutgers University in 2014 in Animal Science.

With over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Barbara has dedicated her career to enhancing the bond between animals and their humans.

Karen has been in the Veterinary field since 2011. She started as a Kennel Assistant and quickly worked her way up to a Certified Veterinary Technician at one of the larger referral hospitals. This is where she met Dr. Tom!

Katie has over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field and is proud to be part of the team at City by the Sea Vet, where she has been for the past year. She is passionate about advocating for clients and their four-legged family members, ensuring they receive the best care possible.

With nearly a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, Alexa has been an integral part of our general practice for almost five years.

Stephanie Dillon is a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician with a decade of experience in the veterinary field, specializing in emergency and critical care.

Our support staff is the heart and soul of our practice. We have a dedicated team of over 20 Client Service Representatives, General Practice and Urgent Care Veterinary Technicians.
